Louise Thornton
LOUISE THORNTON One of the joys of acting is portraying a character very unlike yourself. Louise has never been a city council member, but sure had fun being Ms. Innes who has been one for 33 ½ years. Past roles include: Virginia Butley in Native Gardens; Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret; Jeanette in The Full Monty; Betty Chumley in Harvey; Egeon, the father, in the all- female cast of The Comedy of Errors; Lady Boyle in Superior Donuts; Mary Meekly in Unnecessary Farce; Aida Gianelli in Over The River And Through The Woods; Betty Meeks in The Foreigner; Helen Potts in Picnic; Madame Bathilde in Is He Dead? Past musical roles include: Nellie Forbush in South Pacific; Ado Annie in Oklahoma; Joanne in Company; and Rosalie in Carnival. For her master’s degree at C.S.U. Louise adapted Requiem For A Heavyweight to the stage and directed a production of it. Thanks and love to George for waiting up for me.
