David Austin-Gröen
DAVID AUSTIN-GRӦEN is overjoyed to be reprising a clown role in The 39 Steps, which was the first show he appeared in upon moving to Fort Collins. A 38-year veteran of theatre, David has performed in over 59 different productions and theatrical tours as well as having several directing credits. Some of his favorite past roles include Poirot in Murder on The Orient Express, Ben Johnson in The Book of Will (both performances received Colorado Henry award nominations), Brock in Ideation, Harold in The Full Monty, Prince John in Sherwood, Caliban in The Tempest, Agamemnon in Apocrypha, and Edward Winslow in A Pilgrim’s Project. David was previously the Artistic Director of Radio Star Improv in San Francisco and is a founding member of Fort Collins Comedy Brewers Improv. In the few minutes a week when not being a theatre nerd in one way or another, he is a reader, a gamer, and Dad to very busy high schoolers.
