bio BROOKE FLANAGAN graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts: Theatre. She appeared most recently in OpenStage Theatre's Pride and Prejudice, Nickel and Dimed and Splitting Infinity, and as Gretchen in the Theatre Company of Lafayette’s production of Sabrina Fair. While studying at CSU, Brooke was twice nominated to compete in the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival Region V Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Competition, the first time for her portrayal of Varya in Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard and the second for her portrayal of Evelyn in the regional premiere of Neil LaBute’s The Shape of Things. Other CSU appearances include Amanda in Noel Coward’s Private Lives and Mrs. Gibbs in Our Town. With OpenStage Theatre Brooke has appeared as Lady Chiltern in An Ideal Husband, Peggy in The Women, Patricia in Extremities, Roslyn in Moon Over Buffalo, Mounette in Who Will Carry the Word?, Lady Percy in Henry IV, Part I, Mollie Ralston in The Mousetrap, June Stanley in The Man who Came to Dinner and Lala Levy in The Last Night of Ballyhoo. She also has worked extensively as a stage manager with OpenStage. Brilliant Traces heralds Brooke's OpenStage Theatre directing debut. |
