KARI ARMSTRONG became a costume designer by accident. As an artist/illustrator, graphic designer, seamstress and general artsy sort, she found costume design was the natural culmination of her many talents and loves. Kari has served as costume director for PHS Theatre at Poudre High School since 2004. She first designed costumes with OpenStage Theatre for Enchanted April for which she won the OpenStage OPUS Award for Best Costume Design with her co-designer, Nadine Sheafor.
