bio GRANT PUTNEY has worked in local performing arts for many years. Lighting designs for OpenStage include Noises Off, Picnic, Henry IV Part 1, The House of Bernarda Alba, The Rimers of Eldritch, K2, The Cemetery Club, Philadelphia Story, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Sleuth, Little Shop of Horrors and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. He also has designed sound for numerous productions including Pride and Prejudice, Little Shop of Horrors, Man of la Mancha, Nickel and Dimed, The Threepenny Opera, Who Will Carry the Word, K2, Dial M for Murder, Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean Jimmy Dean, Deathtrap, The Foreigner and The Secret Affairs of Mildred Wild. Grant has built the soundtracks for several Peter Anthony productions including Anon(ymous), The Arabian Nights, Saint Joan, A Bright Room Called Day, The Winter's Tale, Macbeth, The Tempest, Dracula, King Lear, Measure for Measure and A Streetcar Named Desire. He received the OpenStage OPUS Award for Best Lighting Design for Henry IV Part 1 and The Rimers of Eldridge and Best Sound Design for Who Will Carry the Word. |
