DENNIS MADIGAN has designed for OpenStage Theatre & Company, Bas Bleu Theatre Company, Canyon Concert Ballet, En Avant Dance and the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players. His directorial credits include Tartuffe, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, Hello Dolly and Top Girls. Productions designed for OpenStage Theatre include Pride and Prejudice, As You Like It, Nickel and Dimed, Italian American Reconciliation, The Solid Gold Cadillac, The Drawer Boy, Moon Over Buffalo, Communicating Doors, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Misalliance, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Wit, The 1940s Radio Hour, The Playboy of the Western World, Dorian Gray (world premier) and Rasputin (world premier). His design credits for Bas Bleu Theatre include The 1940’s Radio Christmas Carol (world premier), Sylvia, Life X3, The Elephant Man and Coyote on a Fence. When not freelancing as a director/designer, Dennis serves as the Technical Director for the Cheyenne Civic Center. He holds undergraduate degrees in Theatre and Art and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
