bio KATHY LEONARD has appeared with OpenStage Theatre as Kate in The Cripple of Inishmaan, Mrs. Graves in Enchanted April, Katherine Brynne in A Perfect Ganesh, Regine in Who Will Carry the Word?, Marjorie Baverstock in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, Millie in The Hot L Baltimore, Veta Louise in Harvey, the Abbess in the all-female The Comedy of Errors, Sarah in the Company's production of Quilters for Theatre in the Park in Denver, Granny in the highly acclaimed Into the Woods and Hattie in A Breath of Spring. She has performed with numerous area theatres and dinner theatres, including major roles in Eleemosynary, Arsenic and Old Lace, Hello Dolly!, The Belle of Amherst, Anastasia, The Sound of Music, Mame, Annie, Nunsense, Fiddler on the Roof, Steel Magnolias, Blithe Spirit, The Importance of Being Earnest, Deathtrap, Talking With..., The Bald Soprano, I Never Sang for My Father and Bye, Bye Birdie. Kathy is co-founder and past president of Loveland Community Theatre. She was selected for the All State Company for her performance in openstage etc's Heart's Desire at the Colorado Community Theatre Coalition's Festival 2002. She appeared onstage most recently as the Reverend Mother in Nunsensations at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. |
